Who Is Tainá?

Tainá is a Brazilian artist and illustrator based in San Francisco. She recently graduated with a B.F.A. in Illustration from California College of the Arts in the class of 2024.

She considers herself mostly an illustrator and writer, though she enjoys experimenting with photography, film, and other side projects in her spare time. Her main mediums are watercolor, ink, and digital painting, which she uses for a variety of projects ranging from conceptual art to picture books. Tainá enjoys creating art that speaks to our vast internal worlds and how we can connect to one another through this creative element.
