Who Is Tainá?

Tainá is a Brazilian artist and illustrator based in Oakland, California. She graduated with a B.F.A. in Illustration from California College of the Arts in the class of 2024.

She is an illustrator and writer, though she enjoys experimenting with photography, film, and other side projects in her spare time. Her primary mediums are watercolor, ink, and digital painting, which she utilizes for a variety of projects ranging from paintings to picture books.

 

As a storyteller, Tainá enjoys creating art that speaks to our vast internal worlds and how we can connect through this creative element.
